SUPERBOWL WOES
I have to get these event tickets. The Superbowl is the event of the year! I’ve never had the chance to actually get an event ticket and go to it before. No, I always watched it on TV at a bar or at home, but not this year. I finally got my engineer’s license and am making enough money to buy an event ticket, a plane ticket, and to book a hotel room. Of course getting the actual Superbowl tickets is the hardest part since I can’t exactly camp out for them. But my cousin Ralf says he knows a guy who always had Superbowl tickets. It doesn’t matter what city it’s held in, it doesn’t matter who’s playing, and it doesn’t matter how many you need, he can get them. Ralf’s my blood and I trust him with anything, but these are Superbowl tickets! I don’t want to fork over hundreds of dollars, book everything else, and then get turned away at the gate. However, there’s no way I can check this guy out. Obviously, he’s a big league scalper and he can probably get me awesome seats, but Ralf insists everything has to be done through him. Right now, I’m thinking I’ll do it. I’ve saved up and I should be taking a risk every now and then. It’ll be worth it when Ralf and I are sitting at the fifty-yard line. And if it doesn’t work out and we watch the game from back in our hotel room, hey, we can lie. No one has to know.
